Kitty-Cornered

Button-up: Thrift // Leopard Leggings: Romwe // Boots: Jeffrey Campbell // Bracelets: Vintage c/o my Momma

Merow... merow... merow? That sound is probably pretty familiar if you own a cat. I'm on the way to adopting one of my own so I'm pretty stoked about that! There is something about having the comfort and companionship of an animal that is so stellar. My leopard print tights are from romwe.com and they are very comfortable (they're leggings, people!). They're pretty thin too so you don't feel like you're sweltering after being outside. Romwe, they have so many leggings, it'll make your head spin. If you're wanting a certain look-for-less then you want to hit up that website ASAP!

There is that stinking Pendleton Outback hat I can't get enough of. I think I try to incorporate it into every outfit. It's lightweight, crushable (it keeps its shape even if you crinkle it up!), and rather timeless. You can put it on with a dress or with a button up and it will look like it's meant to be! I definitely get a lot of comments on it, including a bunch of dudes yelling, "Yeehaw!" out the window on Abbott Kinney. My beloved Jeffrey Campbell zipped boots made their exodus from my closet yesterday. I still need to get the heel revamped because they've become so worn down from so much wear. Just like the Pendleton, these boots have gotten a lot of lovin'. Has anyone had to give their favorite pair of shoes some much needed TLC from a cobbler or shoe-repair shop?

This is a rather casual outfit for me. I'm not really one to wear gym clothes out of the house unless I'm going to the gym or for a run. The boots are comfortable, jewelry minimal, my legs can breathe even in these leggings, and the button up is so flowy and easy to throw on. I wore this exact outfit to WurstKuche with some friends and it was the perfect go-out-for-beers-n-brats outfit... if there is a category for that!

What do you like to wear on a casual outing?
