What do you think of this [technicolor] faux fur trend?
This week kicked off with exploring Hillsong LA's "Heart & Soul" night. It was a pretty legit service and I'm stoked to have been a part of it. / Finally got my bicycle up and running so I'll be riding to work the majority of the time. / Friday was my friend, Josh's, birthday and I celebrate with him and a few friends in HB. / Saturday was filled with explorations with my friend, Pretty Moon at Deus Ex Machina on Venice and Palos Verdes. Thanks to O'Neill Women for the surf leggings. It's still too cold to try them out in the water, but I'll try SUP or yoga in them. / I went on a craft binge this weekend and made 3 faux fur pillows and this suede clutch. I'm thinking of trying to make these and selling them... thoughts?
A few weeks back, I went to county line, we were finally get some waves after a long dry spell in Southern California. The waves were slow, heavy and emerging from the west's rain and fog. The drought in California has become infamous, so the rain was a welcome change. I took my Canon AE-1 and show some black and white film. My old lab in the Marina got closed so I tried out Richard Photo Lab in the Hollywood area. It's about $18-22 a roll and in the end was pretty similar in cost to my old lab. I was pretty pleased with the service and I loved the photos that came out. The black and white film evoked the groggy and fog-filled scene rather perfectly. Check out the 35mm film photos below:
